Artist’s Statement

As an actor, musical artist, and director, I am driven by a profound appreciation for life's boundless freedom. Through these creative outlets, I aim to unearth the raw essence of human existence and foster connections that make us feel truly alive. Whether I'm building a character from ground zero, creating music, or directing a show, my mission remains the same: to remind people of their shared humanity. In the pursuit of this goal, I strive to create art that serves as a mirror to our hopes, fears, and aspirations, offering a space where individuals can find solace, inspiration, and a deeper connection to one another.

Life purpose is found within an imagination with no limit.

Through creativity, we discover the true essence of our existence. Embracing an imagination without limits serves as the canvas in which we paint all are hopes, goals, aspirations and desires. Channeling imagination into a tool that progresses my life forward has always been a core value of mine, proving itself as the foundation of all my art, and all my relationships.

Acting rooted in Synthesis.

Having the opportunity to pursue a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting at Texas Tech University provided me with a method of acting that is unique to me, fined tuned down to the breath. This collective synthesis in my training stands as a core foundation to build any character from the ground up, and making stories come alive.

  • Training underneath Dean Nolan, most widely known for his original casting as Harry Bight in the broadway production of Mamma Mia, Junior was trained in exploring characters through informed text, and adapting to the cercimsances that surround the piece.

  • Training underneath Acting, Speech, and Movement specialist Rachel Hirshorn Johnston, Junior was taught the foundations to organic reaction and emotions within acting.

  • Training underneath Acting, Voice, and Movement Specialist Rachel Hirshorn-Johnston, Junior adopted the method of exploring ones body through imagination and breath.
